Sound garbled all of the sudden

Today i started up my computer and whenever i watch a Hulu video the sound sounds like its underwater. This is only for the main show, the ads sound fine. Also Youtube is clear sounding. Anyone know what could be wrong?

i have come to the conclusion that everything sounds fine Exept people talking.

Antman is correct, i would advise you download from Shark007.net - Windows 7 Codecs and see if that has any joy in resolving your issue
