Missing Module in Video Player

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satelite P755-S5391 64 bit Recently when i put in a dvd it Module needed for this application is are missing...I have reinstalled the video player twice and still says the same thing..anybody out there know how to fix this...Thank you.

I would like to RUN recovery media DVD or other suggestion to repair DVD media player.
from Windows 7.
My concern is what setting would I lose once , Recovery media is RUN.
Since I have Few software Installed and I would not like to lose nor Lost those settings.
