Nvidia geforce gt440 not working

i just purchased an nvidia geforce gt440 , but it is'nt working. The system is showing error code 43 .the system had become pixelated and i have tried downloading n installing nvidia driver but still it isnt working. the graphics card is working on my other pc but not on this one....so i think dat there is some prob wid the settings in my pc.

Please post your system specs. It's impossible to diagnose your problem from the information that you supplied.

Need a lot more information like your computers full specs and some more details. From that all I could assume is a power issue but I don't know that since you didn't supply the information of the specifications of the current pc you are trying to get it to work on. What power supply are you using and what are the rest of the specs of your system,could be anything causing the issue.

specs:
2 gb ram
intel core2duo 2.8gh
power suppply input 230V , output 12V...this is wat was written in the cpu
im sory i dont have much idea about pc n all tell me wat else do u guys need
