BSOD Error 1000007e, Happen when Freezes or Playing Video

hi there, first off sorry for my language, english is not my primary but i understand most of it

like the title state im having a BSOD error 1000007e when my computer freezes or playing video(mostly, dont remember if it happen with anything elses) the computer simple shows a BSOD then goes blank and i keep hearing a beep each 2-3 second until i shutdown the computer manually(the computer a acer predator 5910)

i uploaded my zip like stated in your post-it, if you need anything else just ask i will be done as soon has i have time

i personally hope you can help me and hope its not a hardware related

Hell and welcome aboard.

Try reinstallin All ATI display driver elements using |MG| Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper) 1.2.0 Download, and then reinstall it from AMD Graphics Drivers & Software.

Also, stress test your graphics card: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100356-video-card-stress-test-furmark.html

Hello C0ke2xx and welcome to the forums.

After analysing several of your dump files I am of the opinion that atikmdag.sys is causing the main issue, that being a part of the Catalyst Control Center. This can sometimes be resolved by updating your graphics card drivers to the latest release.

Therefore, at this stage, I would ask that you update your graphics card drivers and see if the problem persists. If it does, we will need to look at other possibilities.

i updated the drivers like stated(cant say it will happen or not since i just did) for the stress tess the temp went stab at 86

To recover it, check your disks thoroughly.

Reseat the sata and power.
Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

im back,

1) done avast uninstalled and installed MSE

2) will do tommorow(i had some issue before that a long time ago that i couldnt write sometime using my account when im the only admin, could this be also related? Ex: downloading chrome and didnt couldnt save it because i didnt have the permission to do so but like said there only 1 account and im the only admin one)

3) i thought i did however it must be the driver fusion part i dont understand since i cant see ATI drivers via it, i uploaded a screenshot to show what i currently see under it(below last one are sound drivers) last time what i did was update to last drivers via amd automatic & install

Anything more I cannot say, coz you haven't supplied the MSINFO32.nfo file that is included in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions .

upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

Click on the start button
Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

I can just confirm you that your display card is ATI.

In Driver Fusion, search for AMD Display drivers.

And, there is NO nvidia for you, at least in your system.

just to be sure(dont wanna make any mistake and few questions)

1) how come i see nvidia display driver via driver fusion? should i remove it? there also a nvidia chipset driver
2) so i just delete amd display drivers via fusion then reinstall via amd website(up to date drivers) right?
3) seatools is running, will post the result once its done

I dont know how you got nvidia drivers there. Only you can say it

You use the computer.

But what I can say that if you dont use the nvidia display drivers, they are inactive there, and will not cause any problem. So if you leave those as they are, it would not be a big issue.

Search for AMD display drivers in Driver Fusion, uninstall those all. Then go to the site , download the driver, and install it.

If there is any more question, you may ask.

so far nothing wrong,will come back if it happen again but i got 1 last question

when i purchased the computer i had an issue that i didnt have permission to write on the disk(like downloading a file 1 time out of 4 to give an exemple) could you give me an idea why this happen or a test to see if it might be still there?

That is something User Account Control Setting's issue. As you use a standard user account (I guess) some permissions are not available there. You need to adjust the UAC control settings, or log on in an administrator account.

the User Account Control Setting was set(is still) to never notify me, the only account is an admin(mine) thats why i wonder how come this happen
