[Solved] New Build PC: Monitor

I just had my system built, ran it the first time and i can't get the monitor screen to be full screen. It's a Samsung 24" LED Monitor, control panel>screen resolution> 1920x1080, i can't set it higher, the borders are quite visible and i'm unable get the full screen. The monitor is connected via HDMI cable to video card.

Additionally, i also have an internal hard drive but it's undetected, after booting the computer, hard drive is inaccessible, i don't see it, OS is installed on SSD and it works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

For the hard drive, it's most likely DOA & you'll have to send it out for RMA or buy a new one.
As for the display, set a custom resolution in the nVidia control panel & see if the monitor requires drivers (I've heard of some that do)

Used Nvidia Control Panel to adjust the screen resolution. Solved !
The disk was in disk management as unallocated space, set it as a new volume, working now. Solved !

Thanks.
