I grabbed an HP TouchPad when they were going for €99. Used it for a couple of days, but now I only use it as a quick reference when playing Skyrim.

WebOS is really slow and clunky, even with the TouchPad overclocked to 1.5GHz.

Used my TouchPad (OCed to 1.5GHz) for over a year and really liked WebOS. Now have an Android 4.0.3 tablet - prefered the WebOS system...wish it would load on my Android...

You cannot install anything other than iOS on the iPad. Apple locks it down really well. No Android or WebOS. I would recommend you wait for a while and when some Android tablets start getting good ports, you could buy one of those tablets.
I hope my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 gets a port for WebOS.
