BSOD when watching videos and playing games

I seem to be unable to play any games and recently the problem has escalated to any media whatsoever...
I can get to the log in screen of a game, or 10 minutes into a video and it will just crash and give me a horrible blue screen of death.

I'll be honest with you, even the dump files are a mess, and contain little information I can use.
First thing I want to check is this.

Sorry that was more a tactic to buy time to look over the massive number of dump files you had than it was expected to be a real fix. Never hurts to check the file integrity though.

That being said.
McAfee seems to be causing all the lockouts. I haven't figured out exactly why.
Removing it will either stop this, or at least clean up the dump files to the point I can better see what's going on without it in the way.

I suggest removing mcafee before doing anything else.

Would I be able to put McAfee back afterwards? It was quite expensive and its an integral link between all the computers around the house

Well it would seem to be the firewall component of it specifically.
I honestly can't say if a wipe and fresh install will fix it.
It would certainly still be better than doing nothing.

Well as with any security suite it really attaches itself to pretty much every aspect of everything.
That's the reason I suggest wiping completely using their tool.
A fresh install may fix whatever is causing the problem, or it could be that your specific hardware configuration doesn't agree with mcafee specifically for some reason. This is something pretty much all antivirus applications deal with. There is a nearly infinite number of system configurations and they simply can't predict the in's and outs of them all.

If you aren't overly paranoid you could just remove it for say the afternoon/ day and see if it does solve the problem. (you can turn on windows firewall as a tiny bit of added protection in the meantime. though just staying away from unknown web pages, and downloads while unprotected is the best defense)

All that blabbering aside, yes this is really the only way I can come up with that we can even be sure it's the source. If you remove it and the problem continues. I will want the newest file located in your c:\windows\minidump folder. ...and you can immediately reinstall it afterwards as I'll have the dump file I'm after.

I understand how attached people are to their security suites of choice. It would actually be atypical for you to not be hesitant about doing this. Most people are.

Well the BSOD are occuring more frequently and make it impossible for me to work (im an indie film maker so my pc is important to me) so I will put my trust in you if this is what it takes to get closer to a solution. I shall remove Mcaffee although I cant help but wonder how my brother doesnt have any BSOD issues even though he has the same pc as me and got it the same day as me too...
