PCI Wireless Driver - Ralink

Hello there! :)

I'm having an issue with installing the driver for my Ralink Turbo Wireless PCI Card.

I'm dual booting Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) on a seperated partition from Windows XP Professional.

The card appears in Device Manager as an unknown network device located on PCI slot 1, which is correct. Obviously, because I'm not connected to the internet via wireless for W7, I can't use Live Update to find drivers for it.

From the Ralink website, I found an installation for Windows 7, however once the program has been run, no driver is installed for the card. I've tried installing multiple Ralink drivers from the built in ones that Windows 7 contains, but all of them fail to install for an unknown reason.

Just wondering, does anyone have any information that may benefit me?
Thanks :)

Have you tried installing the latest one for Vista ... these drivers will often work in windows 7... download the driver to your desktop ... uninstall the driver from the Device manager ... reinstall the driver from the one on your desktop .. post your results..

Hi Zaishi

I might have some info for you that may help you out dont know if you know this but go to the device manager and bring up the properties for the device and go to compatible ids and copy the first line and input that into google and try that... I had a simlar problem on windows 7 32bit.... here is my post with the driver but its 32bit, I will do a search for a 64bit one for you : http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-devices/28477-ralink-wireless-card.html#post304341
