My computer has suffered a BSOD on 07/29/12, 08/03/12, 08/16/12, 10/08/12, and 10/13/12

I have attached the Seven Forums Diagnostic Logs.

My System Specs are:
Asus P8Z68-V/Gen3 Mobo
Intel Core i5 3570K Processor
4x 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws Series DDR3 Ram
Crucial 128 GB m4 solid state Drive (this is my Windows drive)
Western Digital Caviar Black drive
Corsair TX650 V2 PSU

The most recent BSOD resulted in Windows not starting. My wife was browsing the web when it occured.

I unplugged everything non-crucial, but Windows still wouldn't start.

I hit F8 repeatedly and got into a repair menu that let me attempt to do a System Restore. I was told the System Restore failed so I shut down and fiddled with the cords in the computer a bit.

When I turned it on Windows Started and told me it had indeed successfully restored the system to a few days prior.

This also popped up when I finally got windows started:

Problem signature:

Update it from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21730&keyword=RST&lang=eng. Take either the third or the fourth one listed, depending on your language settings of the system.

Intel Graphics driver:

Update it from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx.

Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
Let us know the results.

Thanks for the help!

The computer had another BSOD while I was out of the apartment and it was sitting idle. I have attached the updated diagnostics.

The BSOD happened before I saw your message. I just installed the drivers you suggested and disabled all of the Startup items except for the anti-virus. I will leave the computer on overnight and let you know if there is another BSOD.

Thanks again!

Seen it, nothing new in that one. First you apply the changes, then let us know the results.

Take your time. And, best of luck.

Another BSOD

After updating the drivers you recommended everything seemed fine until today. I got another BSOD while using Chrome.

I've attached new diagnostic logs as well as a photo of the BSOD.

Thanks again for your help!

Your crash dumps are not showing any finite probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Also, test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight, per RAM module per slot.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.
