Windows Backup starts when i plug in a USB device

I have this really strange problem that started today

Whenever i plug in a USB storage device like my phone, USB stick or portable HDD

Windows backup starts automatically

I checked my autoplay settings and everything is set to either "Ask Me" or "Do Nothing"

can anyone help?

Check your Windows Backup settings - it may be on a schedule to backup to the USB drive...
