My computer keeps giving me a blue screen with that code in the title. They happen at random times, usually when im on the internet. I have looked around these forums and did a SF diagnostic tool download and got the file for my memory dumps. If someone could look at them and help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks

According to Carrona.org, STOP 0x000000E1: WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL
Usual causes:
Device driver

But, as you are seeing, there is no device driver stated as the probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

At the same time, do something more.

Update display driver from Intel Download Center
Code:

Update audio driver from Realtek
Code:
Name Realtek High Definition Audio
Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\rtkvhd64.sys (6.0.1.6267, 2.55 MB (2,677,864 bytes), [COLOR=Red]4/18/2011[/COLOR] 6:06 AM)
► Update network driver from Realtek
Code:
Name [00000007] Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller
Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\rt64win7.sys (7.34.1130.2010, 402.60 KB (412,264 bytes), [COLOR=Red]4/18/2011[/COLOR] 6:06 AM)
Uninstall McAfee. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials. Seems that you have already installed it. Just remove McAfee then, using McAfee Removal Tool.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\McAfee
Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
Let us know the result.

Thanks a bunch, so far I just have to restart my computer for the driver verifier. I updated the display driver (I think), the audio driver is updating (I think), but I dont know which option to choose to update my network driver. Which one do I choose?

The reason I said (I think) on those up there is because all I did was download the file but nothing else, I hope that is all that is needed?

If I uninstall McAfee does that mean that I wont have the virus protection anymore? I just updated it and paid last month.

I have seen that you have Microsoft Security Essentials installed already.
Code:
MSC "c:\program files\microsoft security client\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey Public HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
So dont worry.

If you think, you may install free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

But, McAfee is crap. It is the worst program that is ever made.
