Freeze/Black screen or BSOD Playing World of Warcraft

Recently with the release of Mist of Pandaria, whenever I play WoW my computer will freeze and and screen will go black for a period of time, some times for 5 seconds sometimes for 5 minutes. Sometimes it just keeps that way. And a few times it goes into BSOD with the error "Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed".

As far as I can tell, it's either a bad driver og something's wrong with the GPU. But it's the only game that causes this and I've updated the display driver, so I'm completely lost. It might be important to include that my GPU is stable at 100% usage when I'm in-game, but not overheating. I've included the Dump Files, any bright minds out there that can solve this one for me?

For monitoring the heat/celsius of the system, use Speccy or HWinfo:
Go through the steps on this thread and let us know if you're able to find the problem.

While playing WoW at the moment I reach a maximum of 57 degrees celcius, so it's not incredible high. But that's only with an 60% GPU usage, where it usually runs staple at 100%. I'm not sure as of who it's suddnely gone down. But I had a crash last time I had it running, so I doubt the problem it fixed...

1.If i am not wrong you are not overclocking as you did'nt mention ? (TRY STOCK if u r OCing)
2.Use a different driver (may be an older one ) !
3.If only that game is causing problem than there might be a patch . As certain games cause conflicts with certain hardware!

I just had a small crash, only a black screen for a few seconds, and some flash plug-ins went down.
I can mantion that the GPU usage suddenly went from 65 % to 100% and then all the way down to 0% and up to a stable 45%...ish. The temperature at that moment was only 52 degrees Celcius. Also the memory usage dropped to a 0 MB and then back up. It seems at it somehow restarts, and runs smoothly again. But I still don't have the slightest clue of why, I wasn't doing anything special in-game.


Nothing in my rig is overclocked at the moment.
I'm not sure if an old driver will help, because these crashes occured before I updated it, but I will give it ago. But there might be a patch soon if I'm lucky.
