0x124 crash after playing video/music

A friends PC keeps crashing after a few hours of usage (watching movies, listening to music). I've been attempting to troubleshoot it but I'm not to sure about how to find the cause of the problem. Based on my google search, which led me here, it's caused by either RAM, HDD, Drivers or overheating. I unfortunately can't get the dump right now, but I did get the info from the event log.

The computer has rebooted from bugcheck. The bugcheck was 0x00000124 (0x000000..., 0xfffffa8003560038, 0x00000000b2000000, 0x000000001040080f).

Does this info narrow down the issue, or is it just generalizing the problem down to what's been stated before?

Yeah that's the thread I came across, unfortunately I can't do much right now in the way of troubleshooting, I was just hoping someone might be able to narrow down the issue based on the event log stuff.

It's hardware, or you have a bad overclock.
Only two things that bring up 124 stops.

Stop overclocking - if any.

For monitoring the heat/celsius of the system, use Speccy or HWinfo:

• Speccy - System Information - Free Download
• CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Specs of the computer would also be helpful.
