I've been out of the loop for a bit regarding scanning Windows 7 boxes for viruses, maleware, rootkits....

What are the latest defacto tools out there? Malewarebytes is one of my favorites. I need to run a scan against a PC and am looking for additional Free tools

These are my first choices.
You say you already use Malwarebytes, Good choice.

I use MSE and MAM Pro active on my computers.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I should of been a bit more specific. I am looking for some portable tools with a good reputation for effectiveness. I'd like to build a portable USB stick where I can launch them on a potentially infected machine.

Hitman Pro is considered one of the best. You can also use Trend Micro HouseCall from your USB too, as well as Emsisoft Emergency Kit.
