So I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB23FM laptop, that randomly has been getting BSOD for about a month now. I think I've narrowed the problem down to adbrite, which apparently is maleware that affects google chrome users. I've already run scans using ad ware and mal ware, but neither one has completely solved the problem. From what I've read online i need to delete adbrites "registry" from my computer. I went into the registry but I'm not entirely sure which ones belong to adbrite so I dont wanna go deleting something I might need. Well I downloaded "Revo Unistaller" hoping it would unistall Google Chrome all together and any traces of adbrite as well. However my latop always shuts down right in the middle of the uninstall, showing me the BSOD, so can anyone offer any suggestions?

Welcome to SevenForums.

Are you able to get into Safe Mode with networking and upload the DMP files for us?
Make scans with the following:

-Kaspersky TDSSKiller
-ESET online scanner
In addition, you may run the malicious software removal tool and WDO:
What antivirus are you currently using? McAfee?

I'd also suggest to make full scan with:-

:warn: Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Post back your results.

Once you're done scanning with all the tools listed, update the thread with new logs.

Will post more steps for you.

Take your time :)
