How do I get rid of "Whitesmoke Toolbar" and conduit search engine?

I was out for a week and some people downloaded files on my computer. I ran a scan with Malwarebytes (Full) and a scan with SUPERAntiSpyware (Quick). Both of these are full versions (just in case it matters). Also, it looks like my computer is slowing down and now there is a WS toolbar that stands for Whitesmoke that is on Google Chrome. I think that my computer is infected but Kaspersky (PURE 1.0) can't find any viruses. Help please? How do I get rid of the toolbar and conduit (it is now my home page). Thank you!

It might be wise to d/l & run Windows Defender Offline, just to sure it hasn't invited/installed anything else on your system. Be sure to make WDO on a clean system as d/l ing on an infected one can compromise the integrity of the scanner.

It also wouldn't hurt to check for a rootkit since there seem to be a lot of those going around nowadays.

This will find the junk and remove it ... Download AdWareCleaner AdwCleaner Download to your desktop
1.Right-click on adwcleaner.exe and select Run As Administrator to launch the application.
2.Click on Delete button.
3.Confirm each time with OK.
4.Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart. Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
Note: You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt as well - n is the order number.

WhiteSmoke was distributed by zeroaccess in the past (a year or so ago), now it is not the case usually.

Just uninstall it from control panel and from browser extensions.
Then (instructions for chrome):
Click 3 horizontal lines in the right conner icon on browser toolbar
Select Settings
Select Basics ->Manage Search engines
Remove unnecessary search engines from list
Go back to settings. On Startup choose open blank page ( you can remove undesired pages from the set pages link too).
