Windows 7 Boot stuck on "Start Windows"

Hi,

I was hoping someone can help me out as I'm a newbie when it comes to computers. I installed a bunch of Microsoft Windows Updates after being away for a few months. I installed all of them at the same time and when my computer restarted it now stays stuck in the "Starting Windows" screen. I pressed F8 in hopes to start it in safe mode but I got a message saying "Failure configuring windows updates reverting changes" but it just goes back to the starting windows screen and nothing happens. It worked fine before these updates so I can really use some help.

I also chose "Repair Your Computer" and it asked me for an administrative password but I don't remember what it is since I set it up a few years ago and disabled booting with a password.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,

Michael

I'm sorry but I don't understand anything on that page. Can you tell me which option would be best for me where I got that error after updating a bunch of windows updates and it won't even boot into safe mode or system restore?
