Constant Crashing due to display driver failing

Hi all just arrived home from a trip to find that my computer is not working, constant crashing apparently caused by a failure of the display driver, after doing some research i think that some of my hardware has become faulty, the crashing is constant so i cannot really troubleshoot anything.
is there a way that i can be sure its the hardware if so please inform me.

What makes you believe its the Graphics Card / Display adaptor driver?.

Have you installed a newer version?.

Whats the spec of your pc.

CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4CPUs), ~3.1GHz

Memory 8GB RAM
Graphics Card Galaxy GTX 560 1gb

and no i have not recently updated my driver, as i said ive just gotten back from a trip, my PC has not been touched since i left, and every time i turn it on after a minute or so it crashes, originally it would happen after a while and it would come back and display the error message but now it just crashes almost instantly after booting and restarts, i saw in a persons post that constant crashing such as this is most likely caused by faulty hardware.

Turn your computer on, and Tap the F8 key, This will give you some advanced boot options.

Select Safe Mode. If you can boot into safemode and it dosnt crash, Its likely to be driver related, or a programe thats set to start upon boot up of windows.

Try safe mode and get back to me with what happens.

Well I turned my computer back on and now it seems to be working fine hower im doing a full virus scan now that i can use my computer again and i will leave the thread unsolved for a few days incase something stuffs up again thanks for all your help man most appreciated !

Really? This shouldnt have solved your issue. It was to help Diagnose what it could be. Run some virus checks,

Check event viewer for any errors around the time it's been crashing.

Also, Check what programs are set to start at boot up,
Click start - type msconfig in the search box, Click on the startup, what ever is ticked, is set to start when windows loads. Perhaps uncheck them. reboot, see if the problem has gone.

well here things were going fine and so i decided to ply minecraft and then it started up agian, and actually now that i think about it that is what i was playing when it happend last time damn !

what should i do ?

download and install driver version 306.97

reboot, and test.

Ok well, I installed the driver ass you said but it is still crashing not constantly ATM but it just crashed then.
