sqmapi.dll missing!

Hello ladies and gents! Not sure if the title has anything to do with my problem, but i think so.. I recently bought a USB headset wich is supposed to be plug and play, problem is i can't get any sound. Pretty sure i need to update my USB-drivers, but don't know how. sqmapi.dll is missing, so Windows Update wont update. My keyboard and mouse works fine, and the headset has lights on it, and Steelseries Engine tells me it's connected.
