Hibernate Windows 7 Build 7600 64-Bit Ultimate

I've been runing this build for about a month.
The sleep function seems to work fine.
Hibernate never comes back, it always just restarts the computer.
And if during sleep the battery thinks it is too low the switch to hibernate never comes back.
This is particularly painful since the Mirroring goes back into RESYNCING.

Laptop is an HP HDX-18 with 4GB and dual 500GB (mirrored) SATA drives.
The hiberfil.sys is 4GB

I had a problem with hibernation restarting my computer, and finally figured out that there is a problem with your BCD (Boot Configuration Data Store) in the boot folder (ex: C:\boot\bcd). Most likely its a problem with the "Resume from Hibernate" section of the BCD which points your computer in the direction of the operating system to resume from and to. You can edit/view your BCD by opening up command prompt and using the command bcdedit /? for a list of options. Anyway I tried everything to fix the hibernation problem, including using EasyBcd, but the only thing that worked was installing another copy of windows on a different partition, this rewrites the BCD. Then you can uninstall that extra Operating System. Now the BCD should be corrected. Wouldn't doing a startup repair, or a repair install, also rewrite the BCD?

I think so, but if you have multiple partitions, the location that startup repair writes the new BCD to might not be the actual partition that you are booting from. This is, of course , what I have observed.
Lastly, keep in mind that the partition containing the BCD you will actually boot from, should be set as "system" partition. For me, startup repair never seemed to get it right when it came to rewriting that actual BCD.

Here are two other options to try before reloading.
1) HP has been updating a lot of the laptop firmwares for the upcoming OS so look there and see if your laptop has a new Firmware that will fix the problem.
2) Go into a command prompt as an Admin turn the hibernation function off this will delete all the hibernation items and reboot the machine. Then go back into the command prompt and turn hibernation back on. This will recreate all the system files for it and see if that works.
