I have a file msdia80.dll in my C drive, now I looked it up and such and found it was a bug being there when installed or something along the lines of that.

I then found this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927665 so I went and download the 64 bit security update it recommended under resolution, and now after downloading it the files still there and I don't know if I messed anything by adding more visual c++

control panel shows me with

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.4148
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.6161
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable - 10.0.30319
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40219

Any Advice on what I could do with the mdia80.dll file and is there any of these visuals I might have to uninstall?

The laptop that I'm using now came with 5 or 6 versions like you mention. I uninstalled them all and have yet to find an application that needs them. Your mileage may vary :-)
