I am experiencing some whacky behavior on my Windows 7 profile. It has been acting up lately doing strange things and I know if I "just create another profile" things will be ok, but I am a hardcore computer user and I am pretty picky about my layout, quicklaunch icons, program profiles/settings, etc so switching to a new profile would take me hours or painful configuration.
Here is what is currently happening...
When I create a new folder anywhere on the hard drive, it doesn't show up until I hit F5 to refresh the folder. If I rename a folder/file it doesn't show up until I hit F5. Basically any creation, modification, or deletion of file/folders on the drive are not showing up until I refresh the folder.
Anybody have any thoughts as to why this may be occurring? Any suggestions for a fix?
