im running an hp pavilion dv2000
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 2.10ghz
Ram:4g installed
Windows 7 ultimate Build 7100 64 bit.

I have tried alot of tutorials to repair my aero problems. but no luck
so ill ask for help on this.
the aero had been on when i installed it and i turned it off long ago.
(speed reasons)
now i want it to be turned back on but it wont turn on. All my drivers are up to date. the aero trouble shooter didnt say any more than check for mirror drivers and we dont know. i think it has something to do with the fact my visual options are not all present.
Sys properties/performance/visual effects are like almost all gone ill attach a screen shot of ithelp.png

again please help ty in advance:cry:

Mirror drivers are installed with apps such as Dameware in order to control a remote pc's desktop and see its screen. Have a look under your display adapters in the device manager. There should be a mirror driver right under your video card. Uninstall the mirror driver and if Dameware needs it again, it will reinstall. Alternatively, Dameware can use another method which does not require this driver.

On rare occasions, it gets outta whack and the above will fix it. Reboot and then choose an Aero theme.

If you didn't authorize Dameware or similar on your system and the mirror driver is present, your machine has been rooted (hacked.)

You can learn a little bit further here the whys and what is going on with your system:
