ATK0110 ACPI Utility

I am gearing up to buying Windows 7 and ran Windows Upgrade Advisor on my pc. Windows Upgrade Advisor says the following with regard to ATK0110 ACPI Utility:

"Action Recommended, Run Windows Update after installing Windows 7 to make this device compatible."

Normally I would be fairly happy with that but I was wondering what ATK0110 ACPI Utility actually was so I did a search for it and noticed that a number of people had problems with it when Vista launched.

Is it something I should be concerned about or does that message mean that Microsoft have any possible issues in hand?

I can't generalize, but it has never given me any trouble, through several betas of Win7 (some of them legitimate) to the RTM.

It's a smallish download - less than 100kB.

I have the same problem in Device Manager on a tablet PC running Windows 7 -- and in all the months I've been using it, I've never encountered any problems.

It is a problem over here...I had the same message getting from the Upgrade Advisor: Run Windows Update. After upgrading to win 7 the updated driver won't install and I have a conflict in the device manager (or unknown device). Everything's working fine however so I'm waiting for the updated driver to be updated. My mainboard is an ASUS P5B-MX. I'm very satisfied with win7, my system is using less memory (a lot) and I've got an additional 8GB of free harddrive-space. :)
