No sound with some apps

Hello!

Well...I have a problem with my sound on my Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Winamp/Media Player Classic works!

But Opera/Chrome/IE dont work! The programs dont appear on the "Volume Mixer"!

It's not a flash issue becaus mIRC "beep" doesnt work either

Any ideas?

I guess it happend after a reboot!
I had installed JDownloader and it did some updates!

have you tried uninstalling flash player, then reinstalling it?

it might work - good luck.

ok, when you say "I had installed JDownloader and it did some updates!", do you mean 'jdownloader updated itself', or do you mean 'i did some windows updates (which may have updated my sound driver)'?

i'm sorry, but i do not know why some programs should have sound, but others don't.

when u load Firefox..does FF appear on the Volume Mixer?

No. It only does when it has something open playing audio like Youtube. Closing the Youtube tab and stopping audio leaves FF in the mixer after.

i haven't got ff installed - but both my chromeplus and ie8 only appear in the mixer whenmaking a noise, such as flash files, so i assume ff is similar.

Just tried that with Chorme playing a YT video but Chrome does not appear on the Volume Mixer.

...or try out chromeplus...it's chrome with a few extras, including an 'open new ie tab'...
