So, I just performed a clean install. After formating the hard drive and preparing everything I clicked the install button. From that point to when Windows opened for the first time was 12 minutes.

How fast have you installed?

15...it also gets stuck for a few mins on the "Determing Video Performance Part"

7 Despises my 8600M GT out of the box

From the second i clicked the install now button to entering a username and password was 28mins. (using USB stick)

Same here (USB Stick)...

I think I have my mobile processor to thank...the T9300 is no pushover
