Hello everyone, i've readed previous posts (even old one) and i tried many solutions, still with no luck.

Briefly, i've installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit coming from Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

My pc has been formatted, windows 7 installed all good but the sounds.

I was aware about the chance of having trouble with my Audio Card so i downloaded Windows 7 Drivers (the same linked somewhere) but nothing.

At this point i've uninstalled my audio device letting windows upgrade the drivers, it worked but when i rebooted... boom the sound had vanished again.

My config:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running on:

AMD Athlon X2 64bit 6000+ (3Ghz)
4 GB ram DDR2 Kingston
HD Maxtor 150GB

Former O/S Windows Vista 32 Home Premium (everything worked fine here about sounds).

please any help?

Get the Vista x64 driver for audio.

Extract it to a folder by running. Then close installer.

Right click audio device in device manager. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Now find the .inf you extracted and click or double click on it in the navigation pane. Hit ok and let it install. Enjoy your working sound.
