anyone try this yet? it's a public beta of their newest software.

works fine, but ever since i installed it, my gadgets disappear after a reboot. i can bring them back easily enough, but then all their settings are lost.

i sure wish yahoo widgets would stick around when using aero peek to look at the desktop, i'd just use those instead!

I was just reading about this. This is or has a feature to hide your desktop icons. Maybe this beta recognizes gadgets and icons as the same?

not sure whats happening, but i just uninstalled Fences. yesterday when i booted in the evening my gadgets were there, but then a few hours later they were gone. this morning, only one showed up. killing sidebar.exe and restarting it fixes things, but it's an irritating issue, not worth messing about with...

Hi Garbanzo,

Did you inform stardock about this issue - this is a BETA application running on a BETA operating system so this would be useful to the developers.
