Dual boot Win7 & XP - user error?

I installed Win7 64bit onto RAID 0+1 and XP on separate SATA drive. However, I now realise I re-formatted XP drive "out of sequence" in so much as I didn't follow the correct procedure to alter the boot sequence prior to re-format.
I can no longer boot into Win7, see following

The bios recognises the RAID setup - apologies for the poor quality.

I have tried running the startup & repair via install DVD, several times, but I keep getting the messsage that setup & repair did not detect any problems.
BCD reads as follows

Any assistance to resove this issue and get my system booting again is much appreciated.

Thanks
Graham

And thanks to Brink for the picture posting tutorial.

Does this mean I should re-install XP and then run easyBCD from XP?

If it gets my system up and running then that's all I need.

I have spent a couple of days scouring this forum since I fubared. I should have checked first

I have been trying to change the BCD but it appears, to me, that some parts of the BCD are not user changeable. Or, that knowledge is, at the moment, beyond me.

Thanks
Graham

From your first post, you have just installed XP, is this correct?

If yes then use the tutorial, Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP, and start at Method two step #7.

This will repair the boot manager, no need to re-install XP.

You can run EasyBCD from Win7 or XP.

Let us know if you have any questions.

My bad. I should have stated that, prior to re-format, I already had XP installed on separate SATA drive. Unfortunately, when I try to install XP back to the original drive I cannot install the RAID drivers. Error in line 1724 on install.
Maybe I could install Win7 32 bit onto the separate drive and use EasyBCD to get the RAID booting and then follow the correct procedure to remove the Win7 32 bit entry and re-format the separate drive, find some other RAID drivers for the MB and re-install XP.
Long winded, maybe, but a possible solution?

If you install Win7 second to XP, it will normally configure the boot menu correctly.

Made sure only the Xp and Win7 drive are plugged in so the installer is not confused.

RAID is a wild card here. Redundant arrays are redundant now with built-in drive imaging in Win7.

XP now will not install - RAID driver causes error in line 1724 on install. I've tried different discs and different drivers - same message.

I have now installed Win7 32 bit onto single drive and managed to access the RAID setup with Win 7 64 bit and get that booting too. Once I'm sure that all is well again with this setup I'll remove Win7 32 bit, correctly this time, and find some drivers to re-install XP.

THanks to all who replied.

Graham
