HP 6910p Laptop Modem issue

Hi,

Does anyone have the solution to a missing driver for the HS2300 HSDPA internal 3G modem (vodafone) for Windows 7.

Have tried downloading the recommended update that the solution centre suggests. Also tried using the newest drivers available from the manufacturer website. But still no luck.

When running the Vodafone client, Windows then tries to contact the driver catalogue to download the drivers from the web, but cannot find them.

Is there a way round this or will i just have to be patient until they re-write the driver accordingly ?

Thanks

You could also try the additional Modem driver listed under Vista in compatibility mode vista http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html Also under Win 7 their is a program called essential windows seven updates. If none of this works please go to device manager>Rt click on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id. Copy and Paste the hardware id string and we can look for a driver from their. Thanks. Fabe HP Compaq 6910p Notebook PC- Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center Seems this has been a heated driver issue with Hp Read this through. Their is a driver on this HP site further down only it has to do with Network client. it's a Vista driver so will need compatibility mode for installation.
