Hello!

I have a HP Pavilion DV7-1290 laptop and Philips Aurea TV. I have never had any problems using Vista when connecting them 2 but now when I upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate I get a very weird problem..

When I connect the computer to the TV (to watch movies through HDMI), the screen on the TV "shakes" a bit when I move around the mouse which is very annoying and I dont get any sound on the TV..

I appreciate any help I can get..

kind regards,
Moris P.

I had an issue some what similar to you. My audio wasn't working and the aspect ratio was all off. This was before the official release of 7 (I have a copy from my school that is 64bit Professional). Soon after the release updated drivers came out for my video card and actually specifically for my HDMI and now it seems to be working. I know this isn't exactly an answer but may point out something. Good luck on solving your problem

If you have the updated drivers for the video card then you are one step closer but i would suggest looking for something for the hdmi port itself the computer most likely will need drivers for that as well.
