Windows Media Center Corrupt

Hi guys, hope you can help.
Windows Media Center, on both my laptop (64 bit win 7) and my desk top (32bit win 7) have problems with my music library, it keeps locking up. I have deleted all my music and run the program in win 7 that looks for issues, and it says that it's corrupt, but doesn't say how to fix it. And how can it be corrupt if there's nothing in the library, unless WMC is corrupt. Is there a way to uninstall WMC and reinstall it. By the way everything else runs fine.

Hi Ash1! Welcome to SevenForums! You can't actually uninstall Media Centre. But since you just want to reinstall it that's not relevant......

Since Media Centre is integrated into Windows, you should be able to fix it by a repair install. The instructions for which are here:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html?ltr=R

Thanks,

Hi ZeshanA, thanks for the link. I think I'll try a system restore first.
