Desktop slideshow becomes static after RDP connection

This happens on both of my Windows 7 machines: on PC1: Desktop Background is set to Slideshow - several of the default images are selected - saved as new theme - close. If I connect TO PC1 FROM PC2 using Remote Desktop Connection and then either disconnect the session or log out from the session, when I go back to use PC1 (i.e. not through RDP) the Desktop Background is no longer set to Slideshow but to one of the images from the slideshow (i.e. img14). This happens every time to the either Windows 7 machine I am connecting to. Doesn't matter if I am connecting from a Windows 7 or XP machine. I am using Windows 7 Ult x86 build 7600 and RC build 7100.

TIA

Does it happen even when you have LAN selected in the Experience tab?

I'm having the exact same problem.

But i'm not sure what makes it. I thought it was after reboot or sleep Windows 7 sometimes changes back to static picture from slideshow mode. but it might also be sometimes after RDP connection.

is there a fix?
