Welcome to seven forums key4you: On the HP support site thier is a XP driver avalible for your card reader. You can download this driver and try to install it in compatibility mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html If this will not work you can go to device manager and copy and paste the ID string. To do this go to the device click on it>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id. Copy and Paste the string. Card readers seem to be pretty generic in the since a lot of laptop manufaturers use the same Rioch or Texas instuments. So it should be able to find one that works.
