(THIS IS TRANSLATED WITH GOOGLE TRANSLATE FROM MY MAIN LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH FROM ANOTHER FORUM, THAT COULD NOT HELP ME WITH THE PROBLEM)
Have them so since I bought the laptop from Komplett.no around July / August this year I have had problems with "atikmdag.sys has stopped responding, but was restored" and random "HDMI not found" problems so that I must hard-reset the computer.
The problem can occur randomly, or when I play games like GTA IV, Counter Strike Source for Online Games.
The computer freezes for at least 10 sec - if I should have guessed, and flashes, then goes out of the game also pop the "ATI Radeon Family has stopped responding, but was restored". In the event viewer it says "Display Driver atikmdag stopped responding and has recovered".
This I have tried:
BIOS Update
New videocard
Use Driver Sweeper to remove the ATI drivers, and then tried the latest
Taken out one, and several RAM chips
Setting up the speed of the video card fan
When I get the error message "HDMI not connected" on the screen, and I must hard-reset I see in Event Viewer in after I re-booted, and see that I get the error message "The system has restarted without shutting down properly. This error can occur if the system unexpectedly stops responding, crashed or lost power. "
I'm sorry I had to translate this. The english is bad - I know, but thats what you get from Google Translate.
Hope you guys can help! I'm really annoyed by the problem!
Thanks in advance!
