Win 7 networking

I have a problem with the parts of my network dropping out.

itunes seems to always cause the problem but it will also happen without running itunes. When it happens firefox comes up with a blank page and the tab says "untitled'. IE will also not work. Im not sure what it says as I only tested it to rule it out as a firefox only issue.

If I open up a cmd prompt and ping Yahoo! everything seems fine. If I have uTorrent running existing .torrents will continue to work fine, but if I add a torrent from my laptop it wont start.

The only way I can get back to browsing the web is to reboot.

Is this what the bonjour/win7 issue is all about.

I will give you the fix for I guess what was 50% of the issues networking wise that I have noticed.
Try to disable ipv6. It seems to cause some issues.

Does it happen if your hard wired to the network?
What kind of wireless router are you using? Your firmware may be outdated.

Try the linksys support page. Most likely there are firmware updates for your router.

If you are running dd-wrt, that shouldn't be the issue as i am running the same firmware...
Are you on a wireless connection? if you are it may be your wireless drivers.
Try to access the event viewer. It will tell you if there were any issues with the driver.

I dont see any related errors in the event viewer. I can watch the local area connection status and can see bytes coming and going.

I tried disabling the adapter and re-enabling but it didnt work.
