I upgraded to ultimate 7 64 bit.... I have ATI HDMI audio.
My laptop is using an external monitor which I am connected to via HDMI. This monitor has an audio output that goes to computer speakers.
Programs like itunes will play audio perfectly, however when I try to watch a dvd i get nothing but static sounds. I have used windows media player, and windvd... same static audio sounds.
*When my computer is not connected to the external monitor via hdmi, the sound works fine when playing a dvd and coming out of laptop speakers...
