Do Windows Vista Gadgets work in Windows 7?

Hi guys this is my first post here and I wanted to ask, do all Vista Gadgets work in Windows 7? I just dont want to mess up my new laptop and these Gadgets are getting dull. Also which Gadgets do you use?

Yes, they do I believe. Download a vista gadget, extract the components to a folder that should be named something like "(gadget name).Gadget". Copy and paste it to C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets and then open up the box that shows you available gadgets and it should be there.
