I want to make sure I'm not blocking anything that could slow my internet or computer performance down.

Gud you have unchecked remote assistance. Wat abt wireless portable devices? if u dont have one, you can uncheck it too.

you can uncheck smart defrag
if you don't share media, uncheck media player entries as well.

yes you are right. basically its ur point of view. if u use any software that needs a internet connection to work, then u can add them. some software uses internet juz to check for updates, I normally close these and open them to do a manual check every week/fortnight/month. :)
