Help with shutdown hanging please

Help? I Have Windows 7 Glitches.

I need help when i go to windows 7 to shut down and the screen says shutting down it stays on the screen forever without shutting down is it a glitch?

I also have update glitch.

It sounds like you may have something that is still running that is causing the hangup. Do you have all open windows and programs closed before shutting down? Also check to make sure that Windows Update is not installing something before shutting down as well.

I had problems with 7000 shutting down...
but no problems with 7048 and 7057.. they shut down quickly, running the same programs.

before you shut down, take a look at what is running in the taskmanager if you can. Close whatever programs you are using before you look so you can see anything unusual.

7000 for me shuts down fine.
