I rather like the new Nexus - it's very slightly slimmer than the I-phone and apps will probably be cheaper for it than the Apple. Apple's products are in general overpriced (IMO) although they do have a bit of an "X-Factor".
The Nexus looks like it could be a winner --especially since it will be supplied to ALL the major mobile networks so the cost on a contract will be fairly affordable.

It's still too early to determine whether the Nexus will actually affect the iPhone, especially since the iPhone has beaten everything that has come into the market claiming to be the "iPhone killer", such as the Motorola Droid.
I agree, Apple products are way too overpriced and overrated. The Nexus one brings unique features to the phone industry, although the double tap feature to zoom in, is inferior to the iphone, as the iphone has that finger swirl to zoom in.
iphone or nexus? For me it's the Nexus one.
