I can't find PnkBuster

I cannot find PnkbstrA & PnkBstrB in services, can anyone help me?

PnkBstrA will be displayed in the services.msc menu... if you've installed Punkbuster. PnkBstrB will be different dependent upon which version you have: 32-bit or 64-bit.

64-bit PnkBstrA and B reside in the Windows/SysWOW64 folder; you should set them both to run as admin to avoid problems.

32-bit will be in the Windows/System32 folder; again, let them both run as admin.

You may also find PnkBstrB in a game's pb folder... dependent on the game. For example, I have PnkBstrB in Battlefield, but not CoD 5.

While I have PnkBstrA&B set to run as admin in the SysWOW64 folder, which should be sufficient, I have also enabled them to run as admin in whatever game directories they show up in.

I didn't find these anywhere (even using windows search). I can join a game at BF2, but I am kicked a few seconds later. The message says that there is an error communicating with PnkbstrA...
Any sugestions?

Try going to www.evenbalance.com and download a nice fresh (and updated) set of punkbuster files.
That is the first step in trying to sort your problem.

The Communication Failure message will also occur if certain ports are blocked. You can run the PB Test to check communication.

Or, an easier and more effective method, is to use the link above and dl pbsetup. This will update all your games at once. Once that's done, then go back and follow my initial directions to allow all pb files admin rights.
