Go to device and printers make sure that it is installed.
If the printer is connected properly to the computer and it is compatible and has the correct driver is should work. Make sure it shows up on devices and printers. Go to help and support and type printer and then, "why can't I print" and finally, my printer doesn't print. That will troubleshoot the problem.
If it printed a test page before and does not now, the driver is not installed properly.
Try to read and translate the French notice that you receive. Try installing the driver again. Go to the website and be sure that you selected the correct one from the choice of two that you were given.
Did the printer work with an earlier OS? If not the problem could be the printer. If it did print and we are sure that it is compatilbe with 7 (the original notice said that it was not), the correct driver should get it to work.
I am going send you links from the web site, that I think that you should use based upon the model of the printer.
If after that is completed and you believe that you would prefer to go back to the way it was, when you printed the test page, you can just use system restore and pick a restore point that will return you to that condition. I do not see any benefit to that, however.
Here is a link to some general things that you can check. Do the ones that you are comfortable with. These instructions are not specifically for Win 7. Just follow the general insructions, like being sure it is properly conncected.
Trust me, I truly want to help you get this repaired. I know how difficult is must be for you with school starting, Monday.
Ill be back.
