20 -> 24 pin adapters

Do these things supply enough juice? In my search I expected to find a molex adapter to add a 4-pin to the 20. I'm having some heavy-duty stability issues. Can I get an adapter or swap out the PSU?

According to the listed specs for this power supply at newegg it has a 20 plus 4 connector for the motherboard. What else do you need?

Some power supplies have a 24 pin connector and some have the 20 plus 4 pin connector.

The motherboard has 24pin + 4 connectors.

To add some words:

The mainboard needs a 24 pin ATX power connector, plus a 4 pin 12V CPU power connector.

The listed PSU has a 20+4 pin ATX power connector (good for both 20 and 24 pin ATX), and a 4 pin 12V connector. (It also has an 8 pin 12V connector, which the OP does not need.)

If you have separated the 4 pin block from the 20+4 pin ATX power connector, and are only using the 20 pin section, it might be a good idea to plug in the 4 pin section as well. I doubt that explains the instability, but it's not impossible. Don't confuse the 4 pin block with the 4 pin 12V connector that plugs in near the CPU.

I feel like an idiot. I was doing two systems at the same time. On the other I used my old 20 pin PSU on a 24 pin MB. It works fine.

Any way this embarrasment can be deleted?
