Hi guys,
I know how to change which drive that media center records TV to, but how can i change the directory? SURELY it doesn't HAVE to go in those public/user folders it defaults too? I want to be able to change it so that it points straight to my TiVo folder.....

Just add it to the library in WMC. You will need to label it "recorded TV"

Tivo can't read the WTV files, and WMC will only recognize WTV files as recorded TV shows.

Go to WMC - Tasks - Settings - TV - Recorder - Recorder Storage and change the directory to your TiVo's folder
If you also want to add the TiVo recorded TV folder to you media library you'll need to go to WMC - Task -Settings - Media Libraries - Rcorded TV - Add folders to the library
Hope that helps :)

Thanks guys, but that doesn't do it. The only option in the WMC recorder storage setting is choosing either drive C: or (in my case) E:. It does not allow me to pick specific directories, no matter what I added to the media library. I was thinking this probably had to be done with a reg edit?

It's no big deal...either way I still have to convert them to MPEGII (I like the freeware Aura conversion program) for TiVo's sake...
