wasn't sure where to post this so have put it in general.
Im using an AM2 Motherboard that supports phenom II 940 and DDR2 1066 but is limited to a 1000 hypertransport link.
What im wandering is would I see any performance increase by using a motherboard with 3.0 hypertransport over my 1.0?
The cost of an 790GX motherboard is around £90+ is it worth the upgrade? I don't wanna move on to AM3 just yet, happy with DDR2 for now...
