Well good evening, or morning or whichever depending on your time zones but here in england its 5:20pm.
Im new to this forum and this is my first post so I shall start with a question.
I have a white Toshiba T130 13k, 13.3" and my 250gig Hard drive space has been allocated from factory to C:\ 116GB and D:\ 116GB.
Now I know C drive is where windows registry/system32 etc etc is stored and current and new programmes are also allocated to the C drive and my D drive is for recovery but there are restrictions on what you can store in D. I tried to back up my system when I first bought it to my external Freecom 160gig HD and the "ghost imagery" folder and system back up folder showed in the hard drive but were empty so I tried again as it prompted me to but im not sure if it worked, haven't checked but will do.
That's not the issue though, I don't need 116gig of space for recovery so I want to reduce the D drive space to 50gig or so and move the extracted space to the C drive to increase storage. 1- Im sure this can be done ive red on here about it and 2- How exactly do I do it cus im terrified ill destroy something on my new laptop.
Thank you in advance and I appreciate your time and any advice you can send my way.
