I've been researching this but I'm coming up empty so I'm looking for some help. I'd like to know the difference between creating a network bridge with two network adapters, and doing a merge of two networks. Are they two names for the same function or set-up? Or are there clearly defined protocols and attributes to each. I would be most appreciative if someone could give me the low-down.

I would have thought the wording for it is self explanatory.

As far as i know bridging is for Network Connections. Merging is for Locations.
