Looking for a very good substitute for Peer Guardian 2

Peer Guardian 2 seems to have been abandoned. I feel that it's a very essential program to have working side by side with Vuze, so I've been looking for a very good anti-spying substitute for Peer Guardian 2, which are very effective in blocking off unwanted spam connections from malicious people.

I've tried googling but i haven't really found anything concrete :(

Does anyone have any tried and tested solid recommendations?

Edit: I searched around the forums and I've found threads regarding this PeerBlock program, with some people approving of and others disapproving of PeerBlock. Has anyone tried it before? If you have, please provide some comparison info of PeerBlock with other programs, but please do not turn this thread into a for-or-against-Peerblock thread.

PB is the son of PG, so I recommend using PB, works well in win7.

Another recommendation for Peerblock. They took Peerguardian and basically continued development of it under the PeerBlock name. The latest beta is really outstanding. Rock solid stability too.

Keep in mind, all of these programs, the blocklists that you have access to, the groups you are trying to block have access to those same lists. A corporation the size of the MPAA etc can easily change their IP address, a home user, with whom you WANT to connect to cannot. Because of that, it's VERY unlikely you will be doing anything to block access by "big brother" type organizations, in contrast, you are very likely blocking only valid peers, hurting your download speeds and ability to seed.
