Drivers for HP Photosmart P1000

Hi
Can anyone help please. I have a very good Photosmart P1000 that I love and don't want to part with however when I update my computer which has Windows 7 it is incompatible.:cry:

Your right, I don't see Vista or Win7 drivers for it.

Make sure win7 has done all current win7 updates. Disconnect printer, shut down win7, reboot, wait till everything is fully booted. Then connect printer cable & power ON printer, see if win7 searches for it. Is it USB or parallel connection?

Welcome to seven forums strange as it is right above your post is this thread http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/9357-hp-photosmart-p1000-driver.html Now I haven't read it but you might also want to take a look through it and see what has also been offered as possible fixes. Then again they might want to look at what Doc posted. If Doc's solution works please post in the link I provided. Could possibly help another member as well. Thanks. Fabe
